I work 3rd shift and when I would see her in the morning she would always tell me to go home and go nite nite. She was an amazing person and loved by many. She was beautiful inside and out. I loved when she added the little bits of color even though she wasn’t so sure about it. I would tell her how beautiful she was and she would tell me how kind I was. I don’t think she realized just how beautiful she was inside and out. The world be be an amazing place if people could be a little more like her. Prayers and love to her family.

Facebook Twitter GoogleI first met Paula at her grandson’s basketball games about 3 years ago in Frankfort. I then saw her at Walmart where she put her heart and soul into her job. She was so very caring and loving and showed this in her job and all she did. She always made my day each time I’d see her. She certainly did care genuinely about everyone she met. I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Paula. She was one-of-a-kind and will be greatly missed. I am happy that I knew her and can say that she was my very good friend. I didn’t know her last name, so I didn’t know she was related to my wonderful friends, The Woodard’s and Compton’s. We are all here for you all 24/7. Don’t hesitate to call om us any time. We are all with you during this very difficult time. We love you all,!! Forest Degal, 242-0993

Facebook Twitter GoogleWow — what a shock! Paula always was very kind and helpful to an old geezer at the Mart. She always had a kind word for me and I’ll really miss her. Talked with her about the difficulties that she had with her leg and wished her well in her recovery. Again I will really miss her cheerful smile and comments.
Best wishes, Tom

I’m going to miss the smiles and seeing you every time I come in to work. Your heart and polite manner were one of a kind. You were always friendly with everyone and a joy to be around! Facebook Twitter GooglePaula will be dearly missed. She always made me smile in the morning. She gave me a hard time when I would grab a corn dog from the deli. When I was pregnant with my first child she always joked my daughter would turn into one. Years later she would see me with one and ask if that was my way of telling her I was pregnant. We joked and I always say heck no. Little did I know she was right! She always said “I hope you buy them in stock. Your kids are gonna love them when they are older”. Now when I have a deli corn dog I will think of the moments she know I was pregnant before I even knew. I’m sorry for your loss. Paula was such a wonderful, kindhearted lady that I cherish I was lucky enough to know her! I wish you peace and comfort!

Facebook Twitter GoogleDear Steve,
As you know JC & I were both broken heart to learn of Paula. JC thinks the world of you Steve, as he did of Paula. He was broken for her heart as a Mother when he learned of your Son. He would go into Walmart & hug her shoulders as she worked. I always loved her beautiful smile with her beautiful tan. Steve and Shannon, we have been praying for your hearts & will continue, adding the grandsons, Paula’s’ brother & family. May God minister His comfort & peace as our love and love of others flow toward each of you now & all the days to come. May you each find strength as we keep you in our hearts & prayers.
