Patricia A. Hutson, 90, of Mulberry, Ind., died January 25, 2020 at The Springs at Lafayette, Lafayette, Ind.  Born October 28, 1929 in Indianapolis, Ind. to William Wayne & Mildred Marie (Scott) Sehr.  She married Donald G. Hutson on January 9, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1996.

Pat was a graduate of Short Ridge High School.  She was a homemaker and mother until 1973 when she went to work at Mulberry Lutheran Home, where she was supervisor of housekeeping for 25 years.  She was a member of the Mulberry Methodist Church, the VFW Auxiliary and Eastern Star.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, her family, especially her children, grandson and great granddaughters.

2 Daughters: Conda (Hutson) (husband Steve) Julian of W. Lafayette, Ind. and Candace L. (Hutson) Sheagley of Brookston, Ind., Grandson: Jeremiah (Bri Marie) Julian of Lafayette, Ind., and 2 Great Granddaughters: Sidney & MacKenzie Julian

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a half-sister, Virginia Mae Fritz.

    I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I missed seeing Pat on 300 whenever I would be over there. My prayers will be with you during this time of loss.

    I will love Pat forever. I have so so many good memories of times with her and other family. It’s mainly just a wash of food prep, eating and that indescribable sense of connection to one another. I know griefs often connect. Pat is in my grief world reserved for very few. Always easy for me to conjure up her voice and her laugh.
