Norma Jean Pierce, 97, of Frankfort, died February 7, 2024 at Wesley Manor, Frankfort, Ind. She was born January 8, 1927 in Rossville, Ind. to Troy R. & Ruth (Dieter) Ohl. She married Donald W. Pierce on November 3, 1945 in Lafayette, IN and he preceded her in death in 1977.
Norma was Salutatorian of her 1945 graduating class of Rossville High School and a lifetime Frankfort area resident. She was a secretary, working at R. Adrian Marks and also worked as secretary for the Frankfort Jr. High School for 15 years. Her memberships include; First Christian Church, Frankfort Country Club, Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge and Eastern Star. Norma was an avid reader and enjoyed card games – especially Bridge, but above all loved spending time with family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church, 58 S. Columbia Street, Frankfort, IN 46041 or the Clinton County Humane Society, 825 Izaak Walton Drive, Frankfort, IN 46041.
Visitation and Services
A graveside service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2024 at Green Lawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort, is honored to assist the Pierce family.

Surviving are her Daughter: Brenda L. (Kent) Mitchell of Moss Beach, CA; Son: Ty A. (Jayne) Pierce of Frankfort; Granddaughters: Hannah (Caleb) Robertson of Frankfort and Lauren (Ryan) Schulten of Jackson, MI; and Great-Granddaughters: Tatum and Ella Robertson.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Nick Pierce, sisters, Margaret Kirby and Catherine Rose and a brother, Kenneth Ohl.
So sorry for your loss, Norma was such a giving person to all, prayers to the family.
