Nicholas “Nikki” Jay Atwell 23, of Lafayette, Ind., passed away at 1:20 a.m. November 7, 2016 at his home. He was born April 22, 1993 in Lafayette, Ind., to Angela R. (Chandler) Atwell. Nikki was a lifelong Lafayette, Ind., resident. He enjoyed driving fast, taking back roads, showing mom new roads, listening to music, roller coaster rides and spending quality time with family.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, Ind. The funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.

He is survived by his mother, Angie Atwell, father-Jay E. Atwell, sister, Morgan Atwell and brother, Drew Ferguson, all of Lafayette, aunt, Tanya Baumgardner Edgar of Kokomo, uncles, Nathan Chandler of Lafayette, and David Chandler of Lebanon and four cousins.
