Nelson Galvan, 59, of rural Frankfort, died January 25, 2018 at his home. He was born January 18, 1959 in Edinburg, TX to Juan A & Sylvia (Botello) Galvan. Nelson moved to Frankfort from Texas in 1965 and was a 1978 graduate of Clinton Central High School. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Nelson was self-employed, a barterer by profession, a smooth talker and loved coffee, chocolate and sweets.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 10 a.m. -12 Noon Monday, January 29, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Gruber Hall with the Funeral Mass beginning at Noon at the church. Father Chris Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Donations may be made to Goodwin Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.

3 Brothers: Hector (Susan) Galvan of Frankfort, John (Johnna) Galvan of Frankfort, Robert Galvan of Edinburg, Tex., 2 Sisters: Thelma (Mike) Howard of Frankfort, Diana (Mike) Bush of Lebanon, 20 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Angel Galvan and an infant brother, Jimmy Galvan.
