Nam Bak, 81, of Frankfort, died January 7, 2021 at I.U. Health Frankfort Hospital. She was born January 19, 1939 in Seoul, South Korea to Sung I. & Lee (Persoon) Bak.
Nam moved from South Korea to Frankfort in 1966. She lived in Frankfort from 1966-1980, lived in Kirklin from 1980 until moving back to Frankfort last year. She was a CNA in the Clinton County area for many years. She was a former member of the Assembly of God, Kirklin, Ind., was a believer in Christ and the Christian faith. She had a heart for helping the elderly, enjoyed gardening, fishing, sewing, knitting, crocheting.
Visitation and Services
Visiting will be 1-3 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Clinton County Humane Society, P.O. Box 455, Frankfort, IN 46041. Out of respect for the health, safety, and comfort of all in attendance, guests will be expected to adhere to current CDC guidelines regarding appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks.
Survived by:
3 Daughters: Brenda (Curt) Catron of Kirklin, Youngsuk Parks of Chandler, AZ, Christina Kim of Orange County, California. She is also survived by a sister in South Korea.
Preceded by:
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Brenda, I am sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. We shared many meals of rice & kimchi together.
