I am so sorry for your loss. I know that nothing I can say will make this situation and easier. I do want you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Just know that God is with you through this difficult time and always will be.
It was such a blessing to have you as a friend in our youth group growing up. Even though we haven’t seen each other in many years, I do enjoying keeping up with your life on Facebook. Just know that I am here and will continue to pray for you.

Facebook Twitter GoogleGod gives us memories to help the hurts, and the promise that departure from this sphere of existence is not the end. It is a beginning.
Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting:
The Soul that rises with us, our life’s Star,
Hath had elsewhere its setting,
And cometh from afar:
Not in entire forgetfulness,
And not in utter nakedness,
But trailing clouds of glory do we come
From God, who is our home:
Heaven lies about us in our infancy!
Shades of the prison-house begin to close
Upon the growing Boy,
But He beholds the light, and whence it flows,
He sees it in his joy;
The Youth, who daily farther from the east
Must travel, still is Nature’s Priest,
And by the vision splendid
Is on his way attended;
At length the Man perceives it die away,
And fade into the light of common day.
–William Wordsworth
