Mildred Ruth Fausset 91, of Kirklin, Ind., died at 2:45 p.m. December 1, 2016 at Signature at Parkwood in Lebanon. Born March 27, 1925 in Rural Boone County to Alvaro D. & Mattie E. (McDonald) Morton. She married Donald A. Fausset on March 9, 1946 in the Salem United Presbyterian Church/Mud Creek, and he preceded her in death on December 13, 1998. Mildred was a 1943 graduate of Kirklin High School. A homemaker, Mildred along with her husband was very active in the family farm. She also worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for People’s Life Insurance Company and Lafayette Life, and for J. V. Goar Realty. Mildred was a member of the Kirklin Christian Church where she was involved in the Missionary Society. She was also a member of the Eunice Club.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be from 9-10:30 am. Monday December 5, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, Ind., with the service beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. David Ashbaugh will officiate. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donation may be made to the Kirklin Christian Church.

Daughter: Debra M. Koppelmann of Kirklin, 2 Sons: Don M. (wife Jane) Fausset of rural Kirklin, Dennis M. (wife Linda) Fausset of rural Kirklin, 4 Grandchildren: Richard Koppelmann Jr., Molly K. (husband C.J.) Whitehead, Grant (wife Lindsey) Fausset and Neil (wife Hadleigh) Fausset, 8 Great Grandchildren: Alexis D. Koppelmann, Madeleine M. Whitehead, Bellamy S. Fausset, Tress D. Fausset, Samuel G. Fausset, Marah C. Fausset, Cylas D. Fausset, and Callum D. Fausset.

We are so sorry to hear of Mildred’s passing, she has been a part of our neighborhood for sooo long. It just isn’t the same without her. May God bless all of you as you say goodbye to her. What a wonderful day it will be when you see her again! Love to all, Jim & Carol
