We had the pleasure of getting to know Marie at Wesley Manor. Our mother was on the same floor as Marie. We enjoyed talking to Marie and hearing her sing her songs! Sending our sympathy to her family!

Facebook Twitter GoogleI am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mick. I think of the many many times Mom and I played cards at Mick’s – penny point rum. I visited her often while she was at Wesley Manor and enjoyed our talks. She was always so interested in what was going on. I will miss her and will tell Mom to watch for her. They can start a rum game.

Thank you so much for your condolences and for sharing your happy memories of my mom. She was quite a character and I’m glad you got to know her more that most. I know she really enjoyed the both of you. In the past year or so she started signing old songs and would please everyone with her singing. I sang “nevertheless” with her just last June. I hope you are both well and happy. AND it’s 25 here today so I am glad you are living in warmer Florida.
Be well

Facebook Twitter GoogleOh how I miss Marie already! Jo, we have talked so many times, but I want you to again know that you have my sympathy. Your mother was a joy and kept me giggling while working 🙂 I miss her cute little sayings and her super funny songs that always rhymed! Sorry I couldn’t be at her services, I would have liked to have been there. She will always have a special place in my heart. Take care! Megan Hensley, LPN
