Michael R. Coy 58, former Frankfort resident, died at 1:07 p.m., July 30, 2014 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Born March 16, 1956 in Frankfort to the late Robert L. & Georgia (Copeland) Coy. Mr. Coy was a 1974 graduate of Clinton Prairie High School and a long time Frankfort resident before moving to rural Darlington seventeen years ago. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he served from 1980-1984. He worked in maintenance at Federal Mogul for over 35 years. Mr. Coy was of the Protestant faith and was a member of the American Legion.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Friday August 1st at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Services 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

3 Sons: Michael A. (Misty N.) Coy of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, James Robert “Bobby” Coy of Lafayette, Patrick A. Coy of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, Sister: Deborah Slaven of Frankfort, Longtime family friend: Gale (Lynn) Bushman of rural Darlington and 3 Grandsons: Michael, Alexander and Mason Coy.
