Maxine F. Rothenberger 95, of Frankfort, passed away at 7:55 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Wesley Manor Health Care Center in Frankfort, IN. She was born January 13, 1918 in Clinton County, IN to Roy & Katie (Spencer) Kellar. Her marriage was to Erland G. Rothenberger on March 1, 1941 and he preceded her in death on February 22, 2006. Maxine was a farm wife and homemaker. She was a graduate of Frankfort High School and was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church and the Home Economics Club.

Visitation and Services

Private family services will be held. The Goodwin Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements and services. Memorials may be made to St. Matthew United Methodist Church with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Son: Steve (Dianna) Rothenberger of Frankfort, Daughter: Karen Rudolph of Toano, VA, Grand Daughters: Nicole (Evan) Unger-Williamsburg, VA, Morgan (Brandon) Crone-Coral Springs, FL, Shelby (Fiancee-Brian Anderson) Rothenberger-Indianapolis, Haleigh (Adam) Graves-Switz City, IN and Great Grand Daughter: Marlee Graves.

    Steve and Dianna,
    Our prayers are with you as you go through this time. It’s not easy to lose your mother. Your mom was one of the best, and she will be missed by many. May the Lord comfort you during this time.
