Matthew K.E. Martin 27, of Frankfort, died at 9:17 p.m. January 28, 2013 at his home. Born July 17, 1985 in Lafayette, IN to Roger Martin & Deborah J. Wilkinson Martin. Matthew was a graduate of Frankfort High School. He enjoyed fishing, hard rock, was an artist and loved spending time with his girls.

Visitation and Services

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Pastor John Bullock will officiate the service. Memorial donations may be made to Goodwin Funeral Home for benefit of the Matthew’s family or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Indiana Chapter, envelopes will be available.

    My condolences go out to all of Matt’s family and his children especially…he was a def one of a kind….always had a smile on everybody’s face when he was around…have so many memories with him….RIP Matt you have so many of us down here that love you and always will….watch over your family and those precious little ones of yours.

    Every life is precious to God. Psalm 34:18 says he is near to those broken at heart. May your fond memories of Matthew bring you comfort in the days ahead. Do not underestimate the value of prayer and scriptural texts such as Acts 24:15. I hope these few thoughts and scriptures provide a measure of comfort for your family.

    Matt, I’ll never forget you. You were a one of a kind man. Its sad you left us so early. You had your whole life ahead of you but, you get to meet god & keep a eye out on all of us who loved you so much. You were a special person that meant so much to so many. I hope one day I’ll see you again. Your were suppose to do my tats, now I’ll get one for you. We all love you & miss you, fly high & rest easy. Love& miss you dearly buddy..big hugs

    My heart breaks for the whole family. Matthew was not just a great friend but the best brother, son, and father! He loved those 3 girls more then anything, he use to tell me they are what keeps him going day in and day out!
    Deb(momma) I want you to know I’m always going to be here for the family! I Love you!
    Matthew- you are such an amazing person who always knew just what to say to put a smile on My face. These last few days have been especially hard since March is right around the corner… If everything wouldn’t of gotten so crazy we would be on our 8th anniversary! Crazy huh?! And Destiny would be 8! It’s amazing how no matter what we went thru in the end it was me and you left standing! I Love you so much Matthew…. Im so lost now all I want to do is hear your voice and see you smile! Until the day we are together once more I’ll will continue to never forget you and talk to you everyday! Thank you for being my Angel! I felt you there last night when all I wanted to do was cry. I felt your hand on my back as I sat there staring at our pics. One day when we are all together again you can answer all my ?s but until then thank you for listening again when I needed you the most! Love you Matthew Kyle
