Matthew Brett Davis 31, of Kirklin, died Monday, January 13, 2014 at his home. Born March 14, 1982 in Lebanon, IN, the son of Larry & Rebecca (Barnett) Davis. Matt graduated from Clinton Central High School in May 2000 and received his Bachelors of Science Degree from Purdue University in August 2004. He farmed with his dad and uncle. Matt enjoyed lifting weights, riding his bicycle, reading and being outdoors.

Visitation and Services

Family services will be held with burial in Green Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Matthew’s name to Abilities Services, Inc., 110 S. Prairie Ave., Frankfort, IN 46041 or Kirklin Public Library, 115 N. Main St., Kirklin, IN 46050.

Parents of Kirklin, Sister: Shelly (Shawn) Hester of Pleasant Grove, UT, Maternal Grandparents: Richard & Patty Barnett of Sheridan, Paternal Grandmother: Mary K. Davis of Kirklin, Uncles & Aunts: Eric (Gayla) Davis of Kirklin, Nancy (Stan) Crum of West Lafayette, Pam (Greg) Beckwith of Yorktown, Annette (Brian) Marcum of Sheridan and several cousins also survive.

Preceded by:

his grandfather, Jimmie Joe Davis and an aunt, Julia Pearson.
