Mary Loueva Rhine, 88, of Pendleton, Ind., died March 31, 2020 at Rawlins House in Pendleton. Her husband Marion was sitting by her side and she passed peacefully. She was born February 3, 1932 in Sheridan, Ind. to Doyle William & Helena Ernestine (Moore) Pruitt. She married Marion Rhine on August 3, 1958 in Logansport, Ind. and he survives.
Loueva was a 1950 graduate of Westfield High School and attended the Union Bible Seminary Academy in Westfield for 3 years. She was a teacher and librarian at Frankfort Pilgrim College and then Wesleyan College. She was a member of Mt. Hope in Michigantown.
Visitation and Services
A family gathering is planned with burial in Whiteman Cemetery, Michigantown, Ind. Memorial donations may be made to Gideons.

Husband: Marion “Shorty” Rhine of Pendleton, Sister: Kathleen Morris of Wabash, 2 Local Nieces: Rebecca Storey of Anderson, Martha Roach of Frankton and other nieces and nephews, Sister-in-Law: Dorothy Pruitt of Goshen, and Local Cousin: Caroleen Summers of Cicero

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Eugene Pruitt.
