Mary Clossin, 93, of Lafayette, died at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at I.U. Health Lafayette. Born May 5, 1924 in Frankfort to Herschel & Artie (Smith) Kirby. She married Richard John Clossin on December 5, 1943 and he preceded her in death on July 31, 1996. Mary was a 1942 graduate of Frankfort High School. She was a homemaker. Mary was a member of the Lafayette Social Services and a longtime volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
Visitation and Services
A private family celebration will be held. No public services are planned.

Daughter: Catherine Crodian of West Chester, PA, Son: J. David Clossin of Indianapolis, 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mary is preceded in death by her 4 siblings.
Mary Belle was always a lady and taught me a lot–by word and example–when I was just an eighteen-year-old kid. We will all miss her very much.

She was a good neighbor and kept her house and lawn well maintained. So very sorry for your loss.
She is a loss to all of us on Penbrook Ln.
