Mary Kathryn Branagin of Hendersonville, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 5, 2017.  She was the daughter of the late John L. & Kathryn McNulty McGee and the wife of Joe C. Branagin, who passed away in 2015.  Mrs. Branagin was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.  She was an avid cook and enjoyed sewing, playing golf and bridge.  Mary, Joe, David and Bo moved to Hendersonville from Downers Grove, IL upon Joe’s retirement.  They loved their home in the mountains.

Visitation and Services

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society: PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK, 73123.

Survived by:

Survivors include a son, David John Branagin, grandson, Bo Branagin, and one brother, Joe McGee along with several in-law relatives from the Frankfort, IN area. This includes two special cousins-in-law, Mike Kelley and Steve McIntosh.

She was also predeceased by a daughter, Susan Marie Branagin, 2 brothers, John L. McGee and James Patrick McGee and her Mother and Father in Law, Helen & Ralph Branagin of Frankfort, IN.
