    Dear Stacy and Mark,

Mary K. and I are 2nd cousins who shared a passion for genealogy. We shared everything on the Milner and Myers families, and I owe so much to her and her research over the last 20 some years, She would even do research for me on my Gray families who were also from Clinton County. She was the one who organized the Milner Family Reunions for many years, which kept the myriad cousins in touch with one another. The connections have dissipated without her efforts, but a few remain that I would not have known without those reunions. I last saw Mary K. in 2017, my last trip to Indiana from California, but I have kept in touch with her over the years by phone. She was a sweet, loving, and very generous lady. I will always miss her terribly. Her travails are now over, and may she rest in peace.

Thank you for sharing Mary Kay with us at Wesley Manor! I was working on G wing when Dave was there. We got to know each other and found out that we knew a lot of the same people because I grew up in Manson not far from where she grew up! Our friendship grew from there! I will miss her everyday

I’m so sorry to hear of Mary Kay’s passing. I’m the daughter of her mom’s cousin, Virginia Milner Hobbs. I enjoyed the family reunions which she organized and the family histories which she compiled. What a special person she was!

Mary K. and I are cousins on the Brant line, as well as I considered her a good friend. We also went to church together, where she was the church historian. After she moved to Wesley Manor, on several occasions I brought lunch in for us. She loved McDonald’s and no matter how cold and nasty it was, she would tell me how good it tasted. I suspect she was just being the kind and gracious soul that she was. We had some great chats. She would always ask about my family and I would share pictures with her on my phone. I will cherish my last phone conversation with her a few months ago when I had the privilege of thanking her for her genealogical work and the publishing of several books, which I treasure so much. I will miss you Mary K. RIP and fly high!

John and I were classmates of Mary K. While I had not seen her for many years, we did talk on the phone several times in the last few years. We are so sorry to hear of her passing. The FHS Class of 1954 has made a memorial contribution to the library in her honor.

Mary K was one of the most organized people I have ever known. When she and Dave moved to Michigantown, I had the privilege of getting to know her. She was an active member of our church. Her knowledge of the people and families in our community was second to none. After she moved into The Manor & Before Covid, I would visit with MK and bring her treats. She shared stories about her childhood and her family & always asked about my family and our Michigantown church family. We compared travel stories & adventures. I will miss our visits and her wonderful smile. Rest In Peace, MK.
