Mary Jane Uhl

Mary Jane Uhl 73 of Frankfort, IN, died October 30, 2011 at her home. Born October 17, 1938 in Clinton County to the late Ralph & Lena (Ramsey) Ottinger. She married John Uhl on July 1, 1960 and he survives. Mrs. Uhl was a 1958 graduate of Scircleville High School and was a lifelong Clinton County resident. She worked at Man’s Corner, Zachary’s and Mallory Controls in Frankfort, and retired from there in 2004. She was a member of the Women of the World, First Church of the Nazarene, where she loved to sing in the choir and teach children’s Sunday school. She was on the women’s bowling league for many years and loved spending time with family and her three grandchildren.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Pastor Gregg Davis will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday November 1st from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Donations may be directed to the First Church of the Nazarene, Children’s Dept., 2056 E. Wabash St., Frankfort, IN 46041.

Daughter: Tammy (David) Mohler of Frankfort Son: Dan (Missy) Uhl of Independence, KY Grandchildren: Peyton and Caleb Mohler and Danielle Uhl Brother: Robert (Ann) Ottinger of Fankfort 3 Sisters: Phyllis (Junior) Nesbitt of Sheridan, Deloris (Wayne) Keys of Lafayette and Betty (Larry) Sedwick of Burlington Several nieces and nephews also survive.
