Mary F. Friedmeyer Boschen Williams 88, of Lafayette, and a former Frankfort resident, died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, October 6, 2016 at St. Mary Healthcare in Lafayette, IN.  She was born on April 23, 1928 in Indianapolis, IN to Henry G. & Celeste (Chatillion) Friedmeyer.  Mary retired from the Allison Division of General Motors in Indianapolis.  A graduate of Shortridge High School, she then attended Butler University where she was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.  She also studied at the Herron School of Art.  Mary was a charter member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Brownsburg. After retirement Mary moved to Ft. Pierce, FL where she enjoyed sailing from there to the Bahamas.  She was particularly proud of her four tandem skydives that she took starting at age 69.

Visitation and Services

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary Health Care Chapel, 2201 Cason St., Lafayette, Indiana. Memorial contributions in memory of Mary may be made to Lafayette Christian School, 525 N. 26th St. Lafayette, Indiana 47904.

1 Daughter: Barbara Karen Boschen George of Phoenix, AZ, 2 Sons: Brian Keith Boschen of St. Croix, VI and Dr. Eric Gregory Boschen of Montrose, CO, 1 Sister: Diana Mae Friedmeyer Snyder of Indianapolis, IN, 3 Grandchildren: Jennifer Renee' Boschen Sanson, Rachel Boschen, Charlie Boschen, 5 Great Grandchildren: Jacob Sanson, Katherine Sanson, Joshua Sanson, Oliver Boschen and Gabriel Boschen.
