Mary C. Shimp

Mary C. Shimp 97, of Frankfort, died at 89 a.m. February 11, 2014 at Clinton House Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born July 7, 1916 in Clinton County to the late Harry & Etta (Eaton) Rabanus.
She married Charles C. Shimp on July 24, 1948 in Frankfort and he preceded her in death on October 18, 2001. Mrs. Shimp was a Jefferson Township High School graduate and a long time Clinton County resident. She did live for 25 years in the Hobart area. She worked for Marsh Foods. Mary was a member of the Hope United Methodist Church.

Visitation and Services

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2014 at Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Hope United Methodist Church.

Son: Bobby (Kathy) Smith of Lafayette, 3 Sisters: Esther Bogan of Frankfort, Jean Allen of Frankfort, Betty Connaway of Geetingsville, Grandson: Mathew (Jeni) Smith of Cumming Georgia, 5 Great Grandchildren, Wade, Caleb, Ellison, Audrey and Jake.

Preceded by:

five brothers and one sister.
