Dearest Family,
We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your precious Mother. She was such a sweet lady and always a lovely greeter when we visited Hopewell with Ron’s Mother, Eleanor. So many memories these ladies shared together over their many years of friendship and it continued when they lived at the Mulberry Health and Retirement Home. Know you will miss her dearly. May God wrap His loving arms of comfort around you and bring you peace. God Bless – Ron & Erilda – Foley AL

Facebook Twitter GoogleWe got to know Dale and Mary after our house burned and we moved into Eastgate Apartments over 20 years ago. We had lost almost everything and had a small child at that time. Both were so very nice and made us feel so comfortable there. Even years later, when I would see Mary, she remembered our son’s name and always asked about him. She was a gem of a lady and will be missed by many. I pray that God will comfort all of you at this time, and we will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

Facebook Twitter GoogleTo the family, I’m sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. My sister, Wilmina Deford, called me today. She also informed me of the passing of Richard Rutan. Mary Ines and I were classmates at Beard and MHS. Wilmina has kept me informed about your mom through these last years. I didn’t see her often but she was always a bright spot in the time talking with her and seeing her smile. She will always be a part of my memories of the Beard community and Hopewell Church. I loved the video made available through Goodwin’s Funeral Home. I won’t be there but my prayers are with you.
Blessing of peace and comfort to you all.

Facebook Twitter GoogleWhat a nice lady. On one Whiteman reunion she cooked for us. Cyril Whiteman is my Uncle. She knew all our parents and added so much to our family. Such a privilege to have met her. A gift from God.
