Facebook Twitter GoogleDear Family of Mr. Reagan,
My name is Alan Hester. My heart sank and leaped at the news that Mr. Reagan’s earthly body died. I’m so sorry for the pain of your loss, but rejoice with you at the news he is with our Lord and Savior Jesus. I really only knew him through the eyes and ears of a teenager who lived among you all, especially Denise. I have such admiration and respect for him given the Godly people he was husband and father to. I have been praying for you all. When I think of your family, I smile. What a blessing you all are. I will be flying back from a business trip to Boston on Wednesday, but will do my best to make it to the funeral. My apologies if I do not attend in person, but my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Warmly,
Alan Hester

Facebook Twitter GoogleFran, Renee, Denise and the rest of Marvin’s family,
Marvin is on a very short list of men I would point to in today’s world and say “I want to be like that guy!” Christian, Father, Husband, Pillar of the Community, all framed by the word Great. I had an opportunity to chat with Marvin a year or two ago at a freezing farm auction held just after Thanksgiving. I re-introduced myself to him and he lit up with a smile, shook my hand and patted the other shoulder and said “Well Todd how are you!” All of a sudden the auction wasn’t so cold and I was 13 again showing sheep at the county fair. We chatted for a few moments with his parting words of wisdom still in my memory…”as cold as it is out here today the only thing worth buying is a cup of coffee…”
I hurt, mourn, and celebrate his life with you.
May God Comfort and Hold You,
Todd
