Marvin,
You were beyond an amazing man. I will forever hold you in my heart for you were like a father to me, in my younger years at a time that was so important and much needed. I cannot thank you enough for the all that you have given to me that has helped me as an adult and a parent. Thank you a thousand times over. I was yet again beyond blessed by you when I was able to have had the small window of weekly visits with you over the past month before your passing. I even actually got REAL TIME with you on a few of those days; you were able to recognize me, hear me say I love you and most importantly… YOU got to enjoy the music that you helped me choose to play, and then I even got to have you tell me about a few concerts that you had gone to that songs would remind you of and what year even!! Heck, I even got you to joke around one evening and you tell me that I was “No Fun” for I wouldn’t let you wear my dress boots to go for a walk, and you laughed with me and smiled. LOL Oh that wonderful laugh, smile and friendship of yours will be missed by so many. Your love for all types of music that you instilled in me has been apart of my life since day one, and I have passed it down to my son. I am so thankful for I so deeply enjoy music and it allows me to have a part of you with me and put a smile on my face wherever I go.
I can never thank you enough for you being you.
I love you and will miss you dearly.

Facebook Twitter GoogleThe first time I met you at my job back in 2000 I was honestly intimidated by you. Then I got to know you. You were funny and so nice. After I left that job I would see you walking around town with your big walking stick and I would say to myself “There is Marvin Prickett”. I never forgot you. I am so sorry to your families loss.
