Mark Leon Eades reached out and took his Savior’s hand and entered Heaven on Sunday, June 23, 2024. He was born in Kokomo, Indiana on June 21, 1941 to Oscar L. and Barbara R. (Bola) Eades. He was united in marriage with the love of his life, Sharon L. Stroup on June 10, 1958 and she survives.
Mark was a member of the 1959 graduating class, which was the last class to graduate from Forest High School. With a gift for talking to anyone and making them smile and laugh, his chosen profession as a salesman was a perfect fit. He came from a long line of entrepreneurs and he followed in that tradition owning his own insurance agency, bookstore and farm specialty equipment businesses. He was an active member of A New Beginning Ministry Church.
Memorial Donations may be made in Mark’s honor to A New Beginning Ministry Church, 3231 E. Michigantown, Rd. Frankfort, IN 46041.
Visitation and Services
A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort. Pastor Paul Whitaker will officiate. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow at a later date in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Frankfort.
Survived by:
Along with his wife, he is survived by his children Mark (Gaetana) Eades of Indiana, Dr. Luke (Shannon) Eades of Indiana, Melissa (Dan) Callahan of Tennessee, and Lynn Eades of North Carolina. He is also survived by his sister Cheryl (Scott) Braden of Florida. He was blessed to have eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Greta Johns, a grandson Adam Eades, and a granddaughter Jacqueline Terrell.
