Marjorie Florence Williams 89 of Frankfort, IN, died at 9:30 a.m. August 6, 2011 at Clinton House Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born August 1, 1922 in Marion County, Indiana to the late Carlton B. & Mary Jane (Le Feber) Williams. Miss Williams was a 1942 graduate of Frankfort High School and a lifelong Frankfort resident. She worked for Mallory’s for 36 years, retiring in 1989. Her memberships included the First Baptist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, and Sigma Alpha Chi Sorority. She was a Pink Lady at the Hospital for over 20 years (4,000 hours), enjoyed spending time with her family, volunteering, helping people and crafting.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday August 9th from 4-8 at the funeral home with a 7:30 p.m. Ladies of the Moose Auxiliary Service. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the First Baptist Church or Mooseheart, envelopes will be available.

Sister: Olive McDaniel of Tipton Brother: Rolland “Neil” (Nancy) Williams of Frankfort Niece: Marjorie (Wayne) Wolczak of Lafayette Also surviving are many other nieces and nephews.

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Carlton V., Gwyn C. and Lloyd G. Williams.

    Seeing Marjorie’s obituary made me think of my Mother [Juanita Williams Wright] telling about fun times all you cousins had when you were young.
    Although you will be missing her, it is good to remember happy times, too.
