Marie K. Conklin 82, of Frankfort, passed away at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the Wesley Manor Health Care Center in Frankfort, IN. She was born in Clinton County, IN on March 5, 1931 to Chester & Mary (Bowman) Sears. She married David F. Conklin on January 19, 1949 and he preceded her in death on Oct 28, 2000. In addition to being a homemaker, Marie worked as a sampler for the former Unilectric Company in Frankfort for 15 years. She was a lifelong Frankfort resident and a member of the First Baptist Church and the Independent Order of Foresters. She enjoyed collecting banks, both new and antique, along with crocheting.
Visitation and Services
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort. Memorial donations may be made to Wesley Manor Good Samaritan Fund.

4 Daughters: Donna (Stephen) Frey of Ft. Wayne, IN, Teresa (Michael) Church of Frankfort, Jo Ella (Kenneth) Cloud of Frankfort, Kimberly (John) Bartley of Frankfort, Son: Martin Conklin of Frankfort, Sister: Laberta Morgan of Frankfort, 10 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren.

2 brothers, Omer Sears, George Sears and a sister, Earlean Poe.
I am so sorry to hear about Marie. I looked forward to her complaints about politics and the radio. My prayers are with all of her family.
