Maribel Torres, 50, of Indianapolis, died October 17, 2024 at Eskanazi Hospital in Indianapolis.  She was born on May 9, 1974 in Guerro, Mexico to Simon Torres and Minerva Cervantes Andraca.

Maribel attended high school in Mexico and Chicago.  She was a housekeeper at Butler University for 21 years.  She was a member of Iglesia de Dios Israelita in Indianapolis.  She enjoyed arts and crafts, singing and playing the mandolin and guitar, along with gardening.

Visitation and Services

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort.  Burial will follow in Cox Cemetery, Thorntown.

She is survived by her 3 Daughters: Katherine Figueroa-Torres (Companion: Jose Perez) of Brownsburg, Ericka Figueroa-Torres of Indianapolis, and Lizbeth Torres of Brownsburg; Son: Jonadab (Daisy) Figueroa-Torres of Indianapolis; Mother: Minerva Cervantes Andraca of Indianapolis; Brother: Hilario Torres of Indianapolis; Sisters: Maria (Owen) de los Angeles Hill of Thorntown, Marcelina (Fermin) Castro of Chicago, and Corina (Alfonso) Vazquez of Chicago; and her 9 Grandchildren.
