One Condolence for “Margery Petty”

Will and JoAnn, and all the girls,
My thoughts are with you in these days of preparation for saying your final goodbyes to your mom and grandma. As I read the words of the obituary I was struck by how accomplished Margery was! Certainly, she was an example for young women to follow. The words of the obituary simply tell the world that Margery lived here on earth for a short time, in the spectrum of time. But you are her family and those who knew her best and loved her most. Tell her story to the world! And listen to the stories others share with you about who she was to them. These stories contain the essence of her living and by telling them and retelling them not only do your remember who she was for you, but you give honor to her memory, keeping her alive in your hearts! May God Bless You and Your Family.
    Gently, Jan Johnson
