Margaret Ellen Roe

Margaret Ellen (Moore) Roe, 74, of Frankfort, passed away February 24, 2020 at IU Health Frankfort Hospital.  She was born December 5, 1945 in Frankfort to Lawrence Howard and Katherine (Goad) Moore.

A lifelong Frankfort resident, Margaret attended Frankfort Schools and retired from the National Cigar Factory after 40 years of service.  She was a member of Victory Chapel.  She enjoyed watching old westerns, working crossword puzzles, playing video games, and loved listening to the music of George Jones and Kenny Rogers.

 

 

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 11 a.m. – Noon, Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Victory Chapel, 196 S. West Street, Frankfort, Ind.  Funeral Celebration will begin at Noon on Saturday at the church.  Burial will be at a later date in Bunnell Cemetery.  Goodwin Funeral Home and Clinton County Crematory are honored to assist the Roe family.

She is survived by her Children:  Elizabeth Ann (Melvin) Freeman of Frankfort, Jerry Thomas (Angela) Roe of Lafayette, Robert Charles Roe of Frankfort, Sally Marie (Jeff) Mooneyhan of Frankfort, Teresa Lynn (George Jr.) Irwin of Frankfort, Sarah Sue Roe of Kokomo, and Mary Jane (Patrick) Beecher of Frankfort; Siblings:  Larry Moore, Robert Moore, Della Spears, and Ruth Smart all of Frankfort; 12 Grandchildren; and 16 Great Grandchildren.  

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by her parents, son: William Joe Roe, granddaughter: Chelsea Cobbs, and her sister: Sue Irene Davis.
