Mable E. Leach

Mable E. Leach 88, of Frankfort, IN, died July 17, 2010 at home. Born April 1, 1922 in Frankfort, IN to the late Charles A. & Stella M. (Cummings) James. She married Melvin G. Leach on May 18, 1940 in the Nazarene Parsonage and he preceded her in death on August 1, 2006. Mrs. Leach attended Frankfort Junior High School and was a lifelong Frankfort resident. She worked at the National Cigar Company in Frankfort for 23 years, retiring March 30, 1984. A member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, she was also a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of the VFW Auxiliary.

Visitation and Services

Service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 20th from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home with an Eagles Auxiliary Service at 7:30. Burial will be in Kilmore Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, envelopes will be available.

2 Daughters: Marcia Luff of Lafayette and Kimberly J. (LA) Wiles of Frankfort 1 Son: William T. Leach of Frankfort 2 Brothers: Charles W. (Dickie) James of Lakeland, FL and James T. (Louella) James of Marion 4 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Melvin Levon Leach, an infant daughter, Stella Ilene Leach and 3 Sisters, Edna Maxine Hill, Lily B. Judd and Mary Reagle.
