Lmae Harris Tull 76 of Frankfort. Died at 11:40 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 at Wesley Manor. She was born on July 27, 1939 in Clinton County, IN to Ernest and Laura (McAhren) Harris. She married Larry E. Tull on September 7, 1957 in Kirklin, and he preceded her in death on July 16, 1999.

Lmae was a beautician and the owner and operator of French Lacing Beauty Salon for over 20 years in Frankfort. She was a 1957 graduate of Kirklin High School. She served 2 terms as President of the National F.O.P Auxiliary, and was also past President of the State F.O.P Auxiliary. She was a charter member of the Frankfort F.O.P Auxiliary, and she was also involved in the development of the Memorial Wall for Police Officers in Washington D.C. and Indiana. She was a representative of the F.O.P. Auxiliary in assisting with the passing of the “Vest Bill”. Lmae was a member of the Clinton O.E.S.

Visitation and Services

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday June 29, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Guardian Angel Hospice, Wesley Manor Good Samaritan Fund, The Rossville Music Department, or Frankfort V.F.W.

Survived by:

Daughter: Julia A. (Joe) Mink of Frankfort. Son: Christopher E. (Companion Kris Shepherd) Tull of Frankfort. Daughter-in-law: Lorie Tull Kruger of Rossville. Grandchildren: Jamin (Jennifer) Mink, Barth (Taylor) Mink, Hunter Mink, Marissa Tull, Tylyn Tull. Great Grandchildren: Steven Mink, Charlotte Mink.

Preceded by:

Parents, Husband, Son Craig A. Tull, Brother Kenneth Harris and Infant Brother Sam.

    I’m so sorry to hear this! I didn’t know she was sick. Lmae was like a second mom to me. When I was little she and my mom ran the concession stand at the motorcycle races! We always had fun!! She was a special lady!

    Aunt Lmae was a joy to be around. She had a very dry sense of humor and wasn’t afraid to call someone on their bull crap, or stand up for what she believed in. She was as strong as an oak tree, and as gentle as a lamb. I will miss her laugh, smile, wisdom and her hugs most of all. I am lucky to have known her all my life and she will live eternally in my memories and my heart.

    I was sorry to see your mom passed. I remember her from the good old days in the old stomping grounds. She was a nice woman but tough when she needed to be. She is now with your dad and Craig in a better place. My prayers are with you all and may God give you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

    I cannot tell you all the times this great lady has made me laugh, smile or buck up. I will miss all the conversations we have had throughout the last 17 years that I have had the privilege of knowing her. Until we meet again my friend you will reside with me.
