Lloyd will certainly be missed by all those that knew him. Lloyd was always a gentleman and was the definition of a United States Marine. I was proud to be his friend and fellow Marine Corps League and VFW member. To Chuck, Janet, Anne and families, your Dad and Mom were two of the good ones that we all grew up with.

As a young asst. pro in the late 60s at FCC, not making much money, Lloyd would slip me a few lunches that was very welcomed. Always kind and loved his time on the golf course.

  16. Mark Stout May 12, 2021 at 8:52 am

The entire Stout Family sends you are deepest sympathies and condolences. We have nothing but fond memories of Lloyd and Phyllis and remember the many summers of riding our bikes down the road to go swimming. We especially appreciated the bond Lloyd and our father shared after the passing of their wives and I think they both leaned on each other during those times. I always remember coming home on the weekends and my dad wanting to take a ride out to the golf course and he would always say “lets stop and see what Llyod-o is up to” and we would share a couple of beers. Lloyd was a good man and will be deeply missed.

    Chuck, Janet & Anne,

Bet Frankfort had the best Country Club in the midwest back when your Dad ran it. At least that’s our view!

    Dear Chuck, Janet, and Anne,

I have fond memories of visiting with Lloyd at Wesley Manor before he moved. If I didn’t see him working outside or in the Manor Lounge, I would drive over for a visit. He was a joy and kept me posted about your family and Frankfort affairs in those times. Lloyd was a friendly man and did a lot of positive things for the community, including keeping the grass neatly trimmed while he was at the Manor. Of course, Lloyd was always ultimately neat and tidy, just as a good and disciplined Marine would be. Thank you, Lloyd, for sharing those visit times. Rest in Peace. Take care, Chuck, Janet and Anne.

Lloyd was always a pleasure to be around. He lived a long and consequential life, he touched many people’s lives, and he will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
