Lea M. Weaver

Lea Mable Weaver, 82 of Clarks Hill, died May 31, 2023 at home.  She was born January 31, 1941 in Frankfort, Ind. to Arthur C. Wessell Sr., and Veca M. (Camp) Wessell.  She married Richard L. Weaver on November 9, 1984 in Lebanon and he survives.

Lea grew up in Frankfort and attended Frankfort schools.  She later moved to Montgomery County.  Lea was a homemaker and caregiver.  She attended Trinity Church in Boone County and enjoyed crafts, knitting and gardening.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 12 Noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Clarks Hill. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society, P.O. Box 455, Frankfort, IN 46041.

Husband: Richard L. Weaver of Clarks Hill, Sons: James (Kim) Dobson of Florida, Terry (Companion Stella) Dobson of Louisiana, Barry (Fiancé Alicia) Dobson of Louisiana, Daughters: Annetta (William) Scott of Frankfort, Katherine Dobson of Louisiana, Brother: Phil (Sandy) Wessell of Frankfort, 14 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William Dobson, 6 sisters and 6 brothers.
