I’m so sorry for the loss of this fine man. Even though Ed and I only knew him for a short time we enjoyed his company and wit. Loved when him and Janet would come visit the farm and we could talk about it. TAMMY AND ED SCHERMAN

Lawrence was such a kind and gentle man. He was funny and always had a funny story to share. His smile was infectious and the twinkle in his eye was fair warning a joke was on the way. I will miss him.

To Lawrence’s children and his loving wife:
I am heavy hearted to hear your dad died. At the same time I am at peace because Lawrence lived his life to the fullest. He was one of my favorite uncles. My dad, John Pillatzke, looked up to Lawrence and they got together all the time. I remember playing with Leon and Leroy on the farm. Even Diana and Clare. After dad died he would come over to the house to check on us often. He always had a big grin upbeat attitude and new joke to tell. I know Lawrence is probably sipping a beer and telling dad jokes and catching him up on all the Anamoose news. My thoughts are with you and all the family. I know there’s an big empty space in your heart at this time, but console in the fact that he had a great full long life always surrounded by his family and relatives. The true riches of life. He had them and in turn he gave everyone a big smile a joke to brighten your day and a wink of the eye to show you how much he cared. If any of you would like to sit and talk about the good memories please pick up the phone I love you all and call me anytime. Ph#(702)912-7686

Wow, Lawrence looks very much the same as he did in the late 1980s and 1990s when he was my bus driver for Anamoose Public School, ND. He was the best bus driver ever! A very kind and caring man. Rest in peace. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
