Laura “Janice” Howe

Laura “Janice” Howe, 84, of Frankfort, died January 11, 2022 at home.  She was born December 10, 1937 in Clinton County, Ind. to the late Dorothy Catherine (Swift) Price.  She married John Samuel Howe on March 26, 1960 and he preceded her in death on February 21, 2013.

Janice attended Dayton Schools.  She had worked at Peter Paul, Schultz Market and was a correction officer for the Clinton County Sheriff’s Dept.  She was a member of the Lighthouse Church.  Janice was a yodeler, BINGO, cooking for her family, loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially her 4 special grandchildren, Scooter, Tomula, Aidan and Tyler.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kilmore Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Fund or Goodwin Funeral Home to assist with expenses.

3 Sons: Daniel (Trish) Howe of Frankfort, Johnny (Tracy) Howe of Frankfort, Adam Howe of Frankfort, 2 Grandchildren that she raised: Tomula (Andy) Albaugh and Adam “Scooter” Howe, both of Frankfort, 12 Grandchildren, Several Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great Great-Grandson

    So sorry for your loss.. I worked with Janice at Schulz’s in the meat department, she was always so nice to me. I pray for peace and comfort for her family. I’m sure you have many wonderful memories of her.
