Larry G. Hall

Larry G. Hall, 84, of Frankfort, died August 18, 2021 at I.U. Health Frankfort Hospital after an extended illness.  He was born April 16, 1937 in Frankfort to Keith & Alpha (Smith) Hall.  He married LaDonna M. Bewsey on June 28, 1963 and she preceded him in death in 2015.

Larry attended Frankfort High School and was a lifelong Frankfort resident.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1955-1959.  He had worked at Peter Paul for 22 years and then Zachery Confections for 22 years before retiring.  Larry enjoyed bowling, and hunting, being outdoors, working in his yard, garden and with flowers. He was known as a hard worker and loved spending time with family.

Visitation and Services

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Bunnell Cemetery. Mark Sanders will officiate. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL  60674  or Clinton County Humane Society, P.O. Box 455, Frankfort, IN  46041, envelopes will be available.

2 Sons: Tim (Wyndi) Hall of rural Frankfort, Brian (Cathy) Hall of Frankfort, 1 Brother: Gary (Sue) Hall of Frankfort, 2 Sisters: Virginia Grosswiler of Frankfort, Francis Kay Hall of Lebanon, 4 Grandchildren, Lindsey (Mitchell) Stillwell, Paige (DJ) Chasse, Erin (Tommy) Dillingham and Evan (Kelsey) Hall and 11 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded by:

In addition to his parents and spouse, he was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Robert, Ralph, Russell, Ray, Richard and Donnie and 3 sisters, Margaret Larimore, Genevieve Bushman and Carolyn Brittain and one great grandchild, Mason Stillwell.

    I am so sorry for your loss, I’m praying for peace and comfort for all of you. He was a great guy. He made me proud when he showed up at the reunion at my house. He never went anywhere. He was like dad in that trait. Just keep telling stories and keep him alive in your heart. He loved his family. Hugs to all.

    My sincere condolences on your fathers passing. I believe I worked with him 21 of the 22 years that he was with Zachary. He was a great guy! Treated everyone equally with respect, and was excellent mechanic. I can’t even begin to tell you all of the things that he taught me over the years. He will be missed !!
