Larry Devon Abbott 71, of Frankfort, IN, died at 4:55 p.m. on March 19, 2013 at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN. A lifelong Clinton County resident, Larry was born August 14, 1941 to Louis F & Ruby M. (Greeno) Abbott. He married Sarah J. Myers on May 15, 1981 in Clinton County, IN and she survives. He was a Frankfort High School graduate. Larry is retired from the United States Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam and attaining the rank of CPL E4. He served from Sept. 10, 1958 to Dec. 31, 1962. He was a life member of the D.A.V., Life member of the P.V.A., Life member of the Marine Corps League, member of the American Legion for 43 years, VFW, Marine Corps Association and the USS Princeton Association.
Visitation and Services
Services will 4 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery Frankfort, IN, with Military Rites. Memorial donations may be made to the Help Hospitalized Vets (HHV), P.O. Box 98088, Washington, DC 20090. Envelopes will be available.

Myers Abbott-Frankfort, IN, 3 Sisters: Joyce Galvin-Frankfort, IN, Linda Gordon-Kokomo, IN, Patty Christensen-Danville, IL, 3 Brothers: William Abbott-Danville, IL, Paul Warren-Danville, IL, Dennis Warren-Danville, IL, Special Brother-in-Law: Russell Myers of rural Frankfort, IN, and several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
