Larry Dale has been a very positive influence on my life and I will miss him but feel very privileged to have the opportunity to know and learn from him.
I have had the good fortune to know Larry Dale both as an Instructor, Mentor, AND in the last few years as a co-worker at Purdue University.
It was Larry Dale who taught me Motor Controls, the area of electricity that I have made a good living in for the last ten years. He was the best Instructor I have ever had at Ivy Tech and know he had a very positive impact on many a student.
He inspired me to want to follow his lead as an Adjunct Faculty member with Ivy Tech Community College.
    Thank you Larry

My thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you. Larry was not only a teacher but a mentor to me as well. Larry came to the hospital with his wife when I suffered and arc flash burn in 2001 to visit me and wish me well. That meant the world to me. Larry made an impact on my life. He will be truly missed by many. God bless you and yours. And thank you for sharing such a wonderful member of your family.

I worked with Larry at Caterpillar for over 20 years and always enjoyed our long talks and natured ribbing. He was a good guy and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to call him their friend.

I enjoyed getting to know Larry at Purdue. He was always easy to talk to and willing to pass along his great knowledge at work. He also was kind enough to invite my four-year-old son, Colin, and me to ride with him in the combine during harvest time. This was the third season that we went with him. I am so grateful that we had a chance to spend time with him last Tuesday in the fields. My son was so thrilled to ride along with Larry and “do cropping,” as he would say. I will miss him and will pray for your family during this difficult time. God bless you all.

Larry was always hard working and willing to provide needed support to team members at Caterpillar. Larry would assist fellow workers whenever the need arose at any time day or night. His skills and expertise have/will be sorely missed.
