Facebook Twitter GoogleIt was 50 years ago that Kerry and I met each other in a classroom at University Junior High School. We both liked auto racing and going to Peterson’s Bakery for lunch. He and I enjoyed a lot of adventures over the years. In high school, we took photography classes together. I look back at those silly black and white pictures today and wonder what we’re we thinking. We we’re “Yellow Shirts” for the Indianapolis 500 and have many interesting stories to tell about those times. I moved to Orlando and we continued our racing partnership by attending the Rolex 24 for many years. Camping in the infield and not sleeping for two days. Those memories are priceless. Kerry started spending Thanksgivings with us. He would fly down from Indiana to Orlando every year to spend the holiday in warm, sunny Central Florida; fry turkey’s and play a little golf. He would arrive in Orlando, but his luggage and clubs would fly on the Ft. Lauderdale. Those Thanksgivings continued when we moved to Nashville, Tennessee. We had fun and the holidays are not going be the same without him. Kerry was my friend. He was my friend for a life time. He will always be my friend and I will greatly miss our friendship together.
From Kim, Collin, Sara, Brandon and myself. Rest in peace our good friend.

He talked about you folks everyday. Thanks again for being a great friend.

Facebook Twitter GoogleSo sorry to hear about Kerry! Even though I haven’t seen him in years he was always such a fun, caring, gentle soul, and part of our Sunday afternoon softball games after high school which we referred to as the S.O.B. league (Son’s of Bloomington). Kerry was just an all around great guy. He will be missed! R.I.P. brother!

Facebook Twitter GoogleGod bless the family as you mourn Kerry. He was our neighbor and friend, growing up, always a smiling face and helping hand. I’ll always remember him as one of the “Fairwood Terrace kids.” We were all so close, and played and rode bikes until the sun went down every night. Mother and Daddy thought of him as another son, and cared for him very much, and most likely there to greet him in heaven. My thoughts, heart, and prayers are with you today, with love.
