Kay Frances Richie, 73, of Frankfort, died June 20, 2022 at Indiana University Health Arnett, Lafayette, Ind. She was born June 21, 1948 in Clinton County to Marvin Isel Henderson Sr. and Mary Myrtle (Pyatt) Henderson. She married Larry Gene Richie on February 1, 1969 and he preceded her in death on October 7, 2009.
Kay was a 1966 graduate of Frankfort High School. She later attended CNA classes. She previously worked at Unilectric for 15 years. Kay was a CNA at Mulberry Health, Homewood Health and helped families with in-home nursing for 18 years. Kay was a member of the Christian Life Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Memorial donations be made to the Christian Life Church, 2501 E. Wabash Street, Frankfort, IN 46041.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2022 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Philip Jordan will officiate. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Frankfort, Indiana.

Surviving are her Sons: Josh Richie of Frankfort and Kevin Richie; Siblings: Carole (Richard) Storey of Delphi, Mary Alice Stine of Lafayette, Theresa (John) Kudryk of Trinity, Florida, Mark Henderson of Indianapolis, and Nora (John) Thatcher of Frankfort.
