Katy Lou Williams, 67, of Colfax, Ind. died June 18, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born September 20, 1955 in Monticello, KY to Henry R. & Serena O. (Foster) Burris. She married Bryan Jay Williams on September 18, 1981 and he survives.
Katy was an LPN and had formerly worked at St. Anthonys Nursing Home in Lafayette. She attended Frankfort High School, then Ivy Tech for her LPN. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed classic rock music and loved her dogs.
Visitation and Services
As per Katy’s request, a private family gathering will be held. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Frankfort.

Williams of Colfax, 4 Daughters: Cindy Lou (Jeff) Turner of New Richmond, Angela Kay Lyman of Manson, Teresa Renee Downs of Frankfort, Leslie Ann (Ron) Sharp of Brookston, 3 Sisters: Joan Harris of Frankfort, Nancy (Lonnie) Anderson of Thorntown, Marsha Cook of Frankfort, Brothers: Ronnie (Kelly) Burris of Frankfort, Jeffery (Corinne) Burris of Frankfort, 15 Grandchildren and several Great-Grandchildren.
Preceded by:
her parents, sister, Barbara Huffer, brother, Darrell Burris, son-in-law, Kevin Downs and a granddaughter, Samantha Harrison.
So sorry for your loss. I`m the Martin girls [Linda, Rhonda, Leonna and Sarah] sister, Cathy. Also worked with dad at Peter Paul.
