Kathryn Brooke (Coomer) Hoistion, 30, of Frankfort, died at 1:25 p.m. November 17, 2019. She was born July 12, 1989 in Lafayette, Ind., to Jeff & Kathleen (Skehan) Coomer. She married Matthew Hoistion on June 20, 2012 in Frankfort and he survives. Brooke was a 2008 graduate of Frankfort High School. She attended IPFW, IUK and Ivy Tech, and was a certified medical assistant. She was a homemaker and mother. Brooke was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Frankfort. Brooke was warm-hearted, giving, a planner and organizer, a “moms” girl, was very family oriented and cared for her siblings and was a wonderful mom to Gracie and Noah.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the funeral home. Brad Buescher will officiate. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Gracie & Noah Hoistion College Fund.

Husband: Matthew C. Hoistion of Frankfort, Children: Gracie Lynn & Noah Grant Hoistion at home, Parents: Jeff & Kathleen Coomer of Frankfort, Sister: Danyelle M. (Tim) Eason of Frankfort, 2 Brothers: Jeffrey M. (Cheyenne) Coomer of Frankfort, Chance M Coomer of Frankfort, Paternal Grandmother, Betty Coomer of Frankfort, and several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

I am so sad to hear of Brooke’s passing. I know how devastating this must be to you all. My belief is that God is the one who makes the decision about when it is time to rest and I am sure she, and each of you, needed it badly. Just know you are in my heart.
