Julia May Singleton-Fairfield, 80, formerly of Michigantown, died January 29, 2023 at I.U. Health Frankfort Hospital. She was born June 28, 1942 in Forest, Ind. to the late Orville A. & Oval G. (Kirkendall) Singleton. She married Odie Fairfield on December 30, 1993 and he preceded her in death on May 21, 2019.
Julia was a 1960 graduate of Clinton Central High School. She was a nurse’s aid for 18 years, worked as housekeeper for Clinton County Hospital and babysat. Julia enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 2nd at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation

2 Sons: Randy (Mary) Clark of Frankfort, Troy (Wendi) Clark of Frankfort, Brother: Terry (Angie) Singleton of Alabama, Sister: Jane Lamb of Michigantown, 7 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren.
Preceded by:
Her daughter, Melissa Clark, 2 sisters, Gloria Laughner Ulm and Peggy Singleton and brother-in-law, Raymond Lamb.
