Julia Ann “Julie” Schoner Marley 54, of Frankfort, died June 12, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.  Born May 26, 1963 in Frankfort, Ind., to Steve & Gloria (Jackson) Schoner.  She was formerly married to Brian Yakovich and Chuck Marley.  A lifelong Frankfort resident, Julie was a 1981 graduate of Frankfort High School and a graduate of Ivy Tech with a degree in Business Administration.  She had previously worked for Signature Health Care in Lebanon, Ind.  Julie was a kind and loving person.  She loved clowns, cross-stitch, and coloring.  She was a second mother and grandmother to her nieces & nephews, Amber, Britney, Kaylee, Jackson, Tommy, Parker, Baeli and Caedyn.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 16th at the funeral home. Pastor Chuck Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donation may be made to the Clinton County Boys and Girls Club.

Mother: Gloria Schoner Perrel of Frankfort, Ind., Son: Stephen Yakovich of Brownsburg, Ind., Sister: Brenda (Tony) Pickering of Frankfort, Brother: James Stephen Schoner of Phoenix, Ariz., Nieces: Amber (Doug) Price of Frankfort, Britney (Staci) Overton of Elwood, Ind. and Best Friend: Sarah (Sam) Trent of Frankfort, Ind.

Preceded by:

her father, Steve, her step-father, Norman Perrel and great niece, Kaylee Warren.

    Dear Brenda, Gloria, and Family,
    I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Julie. Sometimes there are not enough words to convey our feelings. Julie always seemed so happy and had that smile on her face. You have been through so very much.
    You are in our prayers as you say your final “I love you,” on earth to Julie.

    I have no words. Losing a daughter, sister, aunt, and a Mom. I worked with Julie at Kmart and I will always remember her humor and that smile. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

    Gloria, Sorry to hear about the passing of Julie. She was an awesome person. There is a special place in heaven for her. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.     I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Julie. She was such a good friend from our days at Southside on through to adulthood. The world has lost a ray of sunshine but Heaven has gained a shining star. Rest easy until we meet again. Love you Jules.
