Judy C. Brant, 79, of rural Frankfort, died September 23, 2021 at Wesley Manor.  She was born September 7, 1942 in Clinton County to Vatchel & Bernice (Boxwell) Skaggs.  She married Paul Brant on August 17, 1962 and he survives.

Judy was a 1960 graduate of Frankfort High School and was a lifelong Clinton County resident.  She was a private duty caregiver providing both home care and at Wesley Manor.  She was a member of the Geetingsville Presbyterian Church.  Judy enjoyed traveling, playing games, watching westerns and was an avid reader.  The family would like to thank Wesley Manor for the care.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 11 a.m. -1:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Geetingsville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Methodist Children’s Home, 701 W. Camp St., Lebanon, IN 46052.

Husband: Paul Brant of rural Frankfort, Daughter: Amy (Carl Ray Jr.) Paris of Lafayette, Son: Randy Brant of Frankfort, Brother: William Skaggs of Wellton, AZ, Sister: Connie Skaggs of Lynn, IN, 5 Nephews: Robert Skaggs of Wellton, AZ, Mark (Diane) George of Phoenix, AZ, Brad (Glenda) Skaggs of Frankfort, Michael Skaggs of Lafayette, Dan (Sharon) Kellow of Greenwood, Niece: Stacy (Roland) Hahn of Joliet, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, Warren & Mary Agnes Brant, sister, Shirley Renfro, 2 brothers, James & Larry Skaggs.

    Hey Bestie and Ray, Ron and I are so sorry for your loss. I really loved your mom. She was a good person. She made it fun staying overnight. I really liked her grape kool-aid.     Connie, I’m so sorry you lost your sweet sister. As I watched the video, the memories came rushing back to me. Gosh how she made us laugh at Denny’s. I remember her in the lovely brown uniform. She was special! I loved the picture of your mom in the kitchen. I lost Aileen last year on October 1st. It was a shock, she went fast.
