Judith A. ‘Judy’ Rose, 77, of W. Lafayette, Ind. and a former Frankfort resident, died January 8, 2021 at her home, with her family at her side. She was born June 18, 1943 in Frankfort, Ind. to Kenneth Kaser & Maxine (Lashbrook) Kaser Braden. She married Calvin Rose on August 19, 1991 in Frankfort and he preceded her in death on September 19, 2002.
Judy was a 1961 graduate of Frankfort High School. She moved to Lafayette in 2006. She had worked for Clinton County Hospital, Methodist Hospital and Rotech in Lafayette. Judy was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church and was a former Sunday school teacher there. She loved her family, and enjoyed cross word puzzles and Bible study.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Private family services will be held. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Green Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warriors, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675. Out of respect for the health, safety, and comfort of all in attendance, guests will be expected to adhere to current CDC guidelines regarding appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks.

2 Sons: Tony (Brenda) Pickering of Lafayette, Ric (Trina) Pickering of Lafayette, 2 Daughters: Brenda Calloway of Lafayette, Melanie (Dave) Morelock of Crawfordsville, former Daughter-in-law: Jill Pickering of Darlington, Sister: ‘Tootsie’ Garriott of Roachdale, 11 Grandchildren, Nathan, Alyssa, Heather, Neeley, Corey, Blake, Austin, Dominic, Benjamin, Caoilinn and Kristopher, and 11 Great Grandchildren, Grayson, Brady, Aden, Mathis, Jackson, Kyleigh, Kamryn, Kirstyn, Ava, Jackson, and Thomas.
Hello Melanie, I am thinking of you every day and wish I could be with you to give you hugs!!! I know how much your mother meant to you. She was a very good lady and a great mother. Know that she is with our Lord now and is watching over all of you. She will always be in your heart and the memories you have made with her will be sweet down the road to remember. I am sending my love to you and your family.
