Joshua Bryan Henderson 32 of Frankfort, IN, went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2012 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. Born April 21, 1980 in Hillsboro, WI to Dion & June Cassada Henderson.  A 1999 graduate of Frankfort High School, he previously worked at McDonalds and was currently working at ASI, both in Frankfort. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Joshua enjoyed riding his moped, playing pool and fishing.

Visitation and Services

Family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 18th at the funeral home. Burial will be Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene.

Mother: June Cassada of Frankfort Father and Step Mother: Dion & Catherine Henderson of Indianapolis 2 Sisters: Tara (Fiancé Roy Sanders) Cassada of Russiaville and Chieanna Henderson of Indianapolis Brother: Steven Prewitt Step Brother: Cory (Christal) Herthel, TN Maternal Grandmother, Carol Allikas, WI Paternal Grandparents: Don & Dana Henderson of Frankfort Paternal Great Grand Father: James Dick of Frankfort Several aunts and uncles including; Valerie (George) Anichini of Lebanon and Darla (John) Large of Frankfort

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Claude & Debbie (Timmons) Cassada, and John & Drucie Terry, paternal great grandmother, Maxine Dick, paternal great parents Eugene & Gladys Henderson and an aunt, Connie Cassada.

    I’m so sorry for your loss. Josh was a fantastic young man who brought nothing but smiles and laughter to everyone he met. He was the type of individual that once you met him, you would always love him. I’ll never forget the times I spent with him talking about football. He loved the Indianapolis Colts more then anyone I had ever met. God has another angel watching down on all of you & I’m sure Josh already has his wings. My heart & prayers go out to each of you.

    Josh will always be in my heart!!! He was like my brother. I basically lived with his family growing up. Rest in peace Josh!!

    Josh was a former student of mine at Clinton Central. I learned much from Josh. He taught me how to persevere no matter what. Josh was a perfect example of this. My heart goes out to the family. God Bless!

    Josh, you finally got your wish, I have heard you say so many times, I JUST WISH JESUS WOULD TAKE ME TO HEAVEN RIGHT NOW.. I am so happy for you that you have no pain, no problems, you are a perfect person that loves JESUS WITH ALL YOUR HEART. What a great reunion with Grandma Dick and all the others that were ready to go to heaven….
    You were a blessing to me, you never knew how your smile, an teasing and most of all how you talked about Jesus, you lit up, just blessed me… I will miss you so very much, but I know you are finally well and feel so good!!!!! I know you planted a seed about Jesus to so many people, what a reward you will get in heaven!!!! I will see you some day when Jesus calls me home… I pray for all the family and your friends for comfort from God, that he will wrap his arms around them and say the door is open come on in an accept me as your personal Savior… I will hear you some day say I Love You Too Darla!!! That thrilled my heart!!! God Bless You All!!!

    I remember Josh from before I knew him. Always having a good time and bringing a smile to anyone’s face that was within earshot. Rest in peace Joshie, eternal life without suffering is now yours! <3

    As a paraprofessional, I worked with Josh at Southside School many years ago. He was an inspiration as he faced huge medical problems at a very young age. With a smile & humor, he made the most of every day. How wonderful that he knew the Lord and was ready to shed this mortal tent and move to a better place.
