Josephine Marie Timmons, 85, of Frankfort, died August 22, 2024 at Wesley Manor. She was born August 17, 1939 in Lafayette, Indiana to Bernard & Frances (Welsh) Snouwaert. She married Robert L. “Bob” Timmons on June 10, 1961 in Lafayette and he preceded her in death on April 16, 2015.
Josephine was a 1957 graduate of Little Jeff High School and a 1959 graduate of Indiana Dental Hygiene School. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Josephine was a member of the Psi Iota Xi Sorority, Perry Township Home Ec. Club, and enjoyed volunteering at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 600 St. Mary’s Ave., Frankfort. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Smith, brothers, Tom, Edward and Jack Snouwaert.
