Joseph “Frank” Crawford, 85, of Frankfort, died August 20, 2022 at Mulberry Health. Born July 28, 1937 in Forest, Ind. to Clarence Russell & Hazel May (Berry) Crawford. He married Janet Kay Sutton at the First Christian Church in Frankfort on July 6, 1973 an she survives.
Frank was a graduate of Forest High School. He retired in 2000 after working at Federal Mogul for 35 years. He was previously a member of the Forest Baptist Church. Frank loved to fish and was a past president of the The Frankfort Bass Casters, where he was one of the original members for over 40 years.
Visitation and Services
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Frankfort Bass Casters, c/o Mike Edmondson, 1000 Gentry St., Frankfort, IN 46041.
Survived by:
wife: Janet Crawford of Frankfort, daughter: Jan Elaine (Troy) Pearcy of Frankfort, son: Mark Allen Crawford of Plainfield and 3 grandchildren.
Preceded by:
his parents, a brother Harley Crawford and a sister Mary Watkins.
