John Wesley Dunham, 77, a former Frankfort resident, died July 23, 2019 in Mt. Vernon, IL. He was born August 30, 1941 in Frankfort, Ind. to the late Hubert S. & Marjorie Alice (Silence) Dunham. He was previously married to Nancy C. Walton.
John was a 1960 graduate of Frankfort High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He started working for the Nickel Plate railroad before retiring from Norfolk & Southern Railroad in 2002 after 42 years. He previously worked for James Stewart Trucking in Kirklin. John was a member of the Central Christian Church in Mt. Vernon, a member of Community Christian Church in Frankfort and a previous member of Woodside Christian Church.
Visitation and Services
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral Celebration will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Community Christian Church.

Vernon, IL, Paul (Debbie) Dunham of Avon, Phillip Dunham of Indianapolis, 16 Grandchildren: Amy Miller, Will Snyder, Danielle Snyder, Shawn Dunham, Michael Dunham, Alisha Wylie, Ashley Tarkington, Brandee Vice, Meagan Smith, Kristifer Dunham, Garrett Hart, Derrick Hart, Dekota Kelley Heidt, Marissa Hart, John Kelley, and James Kelley. 23 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandson and many nieces and nephews also survive.
